Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Community Development coordinates the use of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds the City receives as a sub-recipient under Volusia County's entitlement program .
CDBG program funds are used for the low-and-moderate income service area, benefiting low-and-moderate income persons, for non-housing requests (Capital Improvement Projects and Public Service Activities). Housing requests are managed by Volusia County Housing and Grants Administration .
A public participation meeting is advertised and held once a year in February by the Citizens Advisory Task Force .
