Members Jeff Pendleton, Seat 1 Ann Russo, Seat 2 Dr. Wendy Anderson, Seat 3 Ron Semans, Seat 4 Jeff Waters, Seat 5 Purpose There is hereby created an economic development committee whose duty it shall be to make recommendations to the city commission for the purpose of aiding and assisting them on matters referred to the committee by the city commission or city staff relating to community development and economic growth. The committee shall also serve as the advisory committee for Brownfields pursuant to F.S. § 376.80(4) unless another such Brownfield advisory committee is established by the city commission.
Requirements Shall consist of nine members who shall be appointed for staggered terms for a period of three years. No fewer than five of the members shall be City residents. The membership may include designees of the Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from industry, academia, aviation, business people whose businesses are located in the downtown redevelopment district and owners of property within the downtown redevelopment district whose property is the location of a current business.
